How to Fix Printer Spooling Error

“Print Spooler Error” means your computer is having trouble sending print jobs to the printer.

Fix Steps (Windows):

  1. Restart Print Spooler Service

    • Press Windows + R → type services.msc → Enter.

    • Scroll to Print Spooler, right-click → Restart.

  2. Clear Spooler Files

    • Open C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS.

    • Delete all files inside (these are stuck print jobs).

  3. Update Printer Drivers

    • Outdated drivers often cause spooler crashes. Update them from the manufacturer’s site.

  4. Run Windows Troubleshooter

    • Go to Settings → Update & Security → Troubleshoot → Printer.

Tip: If spooler errors keep coming back, uninstall and reinstall the printer software.
